Charles Chaney, CSAC – Certified Program Manager for DUI Services

Charles Chaney provided a major role in the acquisition and expansion of transitioning Bain’s Community Counseling Services to North Carolina Recovery Support Services. “NCRSS” is the named dubbed for North Carolina Recovery Support Services by Mr. Chaney. His hard work and dedication to the agency and to the founder, Ms. Clara Downing Bain remains unprecedented.

Mr. Chaney currently serves as NCRSS’ General Manager and continues as one of the leading CSAC/LCAS credentialing trainers for the agency. He also developed and manages North Carolina Recovery’s DWI program.

Mr. Chaney is a native of Alabama. He retired from the United States Army after completing 24 years of active service where he served in Asia, Europe, South America, as well as over 14 years at Ft. Bragg, NC. During his service, Mr. Chaney received extensive training in Resource and Personnel Management, Telecommunications Network Management, Force Physical Readiness Training, Substance Abuse Treatment, Rehabilitation,& and Recovery, and Physical Security. Mr. Chaney’s most senior positions included First Sergeant of a Headquarters Brigade unit of over 250 soldiers, and Noncommissioned Officer in charge of coordinating telecommunications services for a Support Division of over 5,000 soldiers. Mr. Chaney also has over six (6) civilian years providing direct Substance Abuse Treatment/Rehabilitation/Recovery services and agency Program oversight since becoming a NC State Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.

Mr. Chaney attended Fayetteville State University, Wake Technical College, and NC State University. He is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).
